Ankita Lokhande slapped her boyfriend and live-in partner Sushant Singh Rajput in full view at the Yashraj Studios in Andheri.

Reports say TV actress Ankita Lokhande slapped her boyfriend and live-in partner Sushant Singh Rajput in full view at the Yashraj Studios in Andheri. The reason for this physical expression of her anger isn’t known, but onlookers are quoted as saying that Ankita arrived at the studio in an agitated state and asked her beau to come out.

Sushant, who was at the studio for some work, stepped out, after which Ankita asked him to hand over his phone. He did that. Reports say Ankita frenetically went through the phone for a good two minutes after which she handed the handset back to Sushant and said a sarcastic “Thank You” and then slapped him.

The Kai Po Che! actor was shocked and went back into the studio while the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress went her way.

Though this story has sparked rumours of trouble in Sushant and Ankita’s relationship, the actor’s spokesperson has denied the incident. The spokesperson said that Sushant Singh Rajput had a good laugh when he read the report.

Sushant and Ankita have been in a relationship for a long time now. He has graduated from TV to films and made a name for himself in Bollywood. His last film Shuddh Desi Romance had him locking lips with his actresses.

NEW SHOW ON INDIAN TELEVISION -ZEE TELEVISION.
After showing a lot of promise in his debut role as an intense angry young man, Arhaan Behl is all set to do his second show on Zee TV. He will be playing the male lead in the channel’s upcoming prime time drama, Do Dil Bandhe Ek Dori Se. Arhaan will be playing the character of  a demure and diffident Raghu in the show.

Ask him what made him take up this role and the actor says, “As an actor I want to do a variety of roles. Until now I was being offered roles which were similar to my earlier character Krishna. I didn’t want to repeat myself.  What attracted me to this show was the simplicity of my character Raghu.  Raghu is an average guy. He doesn’t possess any hero like qualities. I play a simple lower middle class boy in the show who is loyal and hard working. My character is very down to earth and that is what makes him special. He is a very strong character but he is not aggressive. This role is quite different from my earlier character. This is my first show on Zee TV and I hope my fans will give me equal love and affection like my earlier show.”

Produced by Film Farm Productions, the show is slated to go on air soon on Zee TV!

PAVITRA RISHTA: ARE RITHVIK DHANJANI AND ASHA NEGI DATING?

Is it just great acting or is there something more to it than what meets the eye?
Zee TV’s popular onscreen couple Arjun (Rithvik Dhanjani) and Purvi (Asha Negi) share great chemistry in Pavitra Rishta. But it’s not what they do in front of the camera that caught our attention, but what’s happening behind.
If rumours are to be believed, the duo has been spending a lot of time alone after the shoots. Rithvik has been taking care of Asha and is apparently very protective about her. Ahem… Ahem! In the show,Rithvik and Asha are married to other people, but their real life is a whole different story. A little birdie from the sets informed that the two are indeed dating each other.
We don’t understand what’s with all the denial and secrecy – pyar kiya toh darna kya, right? Well their personal life is technically their business, but who’s to stop us from snooping around. We tried to get in touch with both the actors, but sadly got no response.
Hope the couple soon come out and confirm our doubts ‘coz nothing can be kept a secret for that long, no?

‘The serial is not just the love story of Jodha and Akbar’

Rajat Tokas makes a comeback on television after a gap of two-and-a-half years with the historical show Jodha Akbar. Produced by Ekta Kapoor, it will premiere on Zee Television on June 18.

The 21-year-old actor, who made a name for himself in the role of the warrior king in the TV serial Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan, said of his new show: “It is a misconception that the serial is on the same lines as the film. This serial is a political drama, rather than just the love story of Jodha and Akbar. I am excited to play the role of an emperor. I am trying to live this character as much as possible.

“The Akbar I am playing is about 22 years old. I think the combination of fame, success and madness is a deadly [combination] and that is something that you will get to see on screen.”

When asked about his fascination for period dramas, he replied, “It’s not about getting back to historical shows or that I am in love with historical characters. But, yes, it’s true that I like them as I love playing a man. I want to explore myself as an actor with these kinds of opportunities.”

Rajat has teamed up with Ekta Kapoor for the second time after the TV soap Tere Liye. The actor says he used the two years to complete his studies. “I did my graduation in Arts. In between I was offered films but they didn’t work out. I got depressed as I had no work. My mom also got depressed, seeing me depressed. I had no option but to send her back to Delhi.”

He says that was a tough period. “I am a loner and don’t have friends. I’ve never had any friends since childhood. I don’t know how to make friends. I am not the sort of person who will walk up to anyone and make friends.”

So what kind of equation does he share with his co-stars?

“When I’m playing my role, I am in the character and not myself. I have been given this responsibility so I can’t let them down. If I lose my focus even for a minute, I might lose out on any opportunity that comes my way,” Rajat replied.

Watch Jodha Akbar every Monday to Friday at 8pm on Zee Television.
